No to GBV!
Eastern Produce Malawi: 12th March 2021
Training the Trainers
Eastern Produce Malwai continue to show their commitment to zero tolerance against any form of gender-based violence, GBV including sexual harassment, through training 92 Line Managers as Training of Trainers, TOT’s. These managers are delivering sexual harassment awareness training to the entire workforce of approximately 12,000.
New Sexual Harassment Policy
The training is based on EPM's new and robust sexual harassment policy. The key aspects of the policy and the training include gender equality & equity, recognizing & reporting sexual harassment, sexual harassment disciplinary procedures and resolution of complaints.
Improving awareness
Posters that highlight the key aspects of the new policy on sexual harassment have been displayed strategically throughout the estates offices and factories.
The objective is to improve GBV awareness among the workforce and ultimately achieve a work environment that is free of any forms of gender-based violence. We say zero tolerance to GBV.
