GOOD PROGRESS AT NAMPHUNGO HEALTH CENTRE
Early this year, we embarked on a project to construct an Ant-Retroviral Therapy (ART) facility at Namphungo Health Centre (HC) to improve privacy in health care delivery.
Unlike many of our projects which are near or within our tea and macademia fields, this building project is many kilometers away from our plantations.
In the week, we got in touch with Namphungo HC In-Charge Alexious Ntakati who mentioned that they are currently offering ART services at the veranda. He went on to share a concern that the open space being used violates the privacy of the ART clients.
“Once completed, the ART facility will offer dignified HIV testing, counseling, and treatment," said Ntakati.
